The following are some specific areas of specialization. However, I provide therapy services for many different challenges, not limited to the issues or demographics below.

Anxiety / Depression

Anxiety and Depression are the psychological equivalent to having a fever, as they are caused by many different underlying dynamics. I help people explore their specific individual patterns.

Relationships

We model our present relationships on past relationships, often without awareness. I help people navigate the impact of their family of origin and work through romantic, peer, work, and family relationship challenges in the present day.

Spirituality / Religious Trauma

I am passionate about working with people who are in the midst of a spiritual or existential struggle. I also assist people who have experienced harm from high control/high shame ideological communities (religious, political etc.).

Men’s Issues

Men account for more than 75% of suicides in Canada. Many are experiencing isolation, a crisis of meaning, sex and porn related issues, the impact of emotionally or physically absent fathers, addiction, or difficulty processing emotions, such as anger. I care deeply about these issues.

Shadow Work / Individuation

I assist clients who are willing to do the courageous work of investigating and integrating their estranged shadow parts, becoming more fully aligned with their deeper self.

Youth / Young Adult Issues

Youth and young adults are navigating many challenges in our dramatically changing world, including skyrocketing rates of anxiety and depression. I am a firm believer that every young person needs a compassionate adult in their life - someone they can trust and share honestly with.
